A report in Life & Style magazine that Jennifer Aniston wanted to exclude her He’s Just Not That Into You co-star Jennifer Connelly from a group cover shot for Marie Claire is “absolutely absurd,” Aniston’s rep told Usmagazine.com.
“There is no drama whatsover,” Aniston’s rep clarified.
“Marie Claire wanted Jennifer alone,” the rep said. “It was our idea to make it a group cover as Jennifer has a smaller supporting role in the film.”
The magazine “only wanted to put three of them on the cover” and “definitely wanted” Drew Barrymore, according to the rep.
“We recommended Ginnifer Goodwin because she is basically the lead role in the film,” the rep explained.
And contrary to the report, “Jennifer got along great with Jennifer Connelly.”

DREW Barrymore is going to have to find another vacation spot now that her favorite Mexican resort has been raided by armed guards and shut down.
The chic Casa Magna resort in the coastal area of Tulum - once the home of drug lord Pablo Escobar and more recently run by Bikini Boot Camp founder Melissa Pearlman - has been “foreclosed on,” our sources said, following last month’s incident.
Exactly who pulled off the raid remains unclear. But one art collector received an e-mail recently from the hotel stating, “We have run into some unexpected problems with the Mexican government involving a land dispute that has affected Casa Magna’s stability. The people we lease from are being sued and the opposing party has appeared out of the woodwork with papers giving them temporary occupation.”
The art collector was advised to try Casa de Miel, a few miles away on the so-called Mayan Riviera.
But she was among the lucky ones. Another guest was staying at Casa Magna the weekend when it was seized.
The guest told us, “I was scared for my life. I booked a room at Casa Magna for a friend’s wedding weekend at the hotel. When I arrived on May 1, I was told that the ‘Mexican Mafia’ had taken back the house.
“The rightful owners took back Casa Magna via armed men and helicopters on the beach in front of the hotel,” the wedding-goer continued. “They allowed the guests to stay because they were Americans, but the Mexican staff felt in danger and fled” the scene, along with Pearlman, Casa Magna’s supposed owner.
Pearlman told Page Six, “We’ve gotten caught in the middle of a Mexican land deal. We are temporarily closed and will reopen on Dec. 1. I am actually signing a lease with the person holding title next week - we are just working out the terms.”

Actress Claire Danes, 29, has been selected to take over Drew Barrymore’s role as the new face of Gucci’s fine jewelry advertising campaign.
Gucci creative director Frida Giannini said:
“Claire Danes is a modern icon. For me she is one of the most interesting young actresses on the international scene. She is very natural, fresh and has a carefree attitude that is reflected in the roles she has chosen. Claire’s sensual, confident beauty and her passionate, independent and strong character embodies today’s Gucci woman.?
Danes, who’s ad campaign is set to launch this autumn said:

Talk about a “big give”: Drew Barrymore announced on Monday’s Oprah Winfrey Show that she is donating $1 million to the World Food Programme to help feed children in Africa.
“I have seen with my own eyes what a difference a simple cup of nutritious porridge can make in a child’s life,” the actress said. “It helps them learn, stay healthy and sets them on track for a bright future.”
Barrymore, 33, has worked with the charity since 2005 and became an Ambassador Against Hunger last year. She’s taken two trips to Kenya to see the organization’s work first hand.

Drew Barrymore announced on the Oprah Winfrey show Monday that she is donating $1 million of her own money to charity.
Drew is a WFP ambassador against hunger and her gift kicks off the agency’s $3 billion “Fill the Cup” campaign that aims to feed 59 million hungry school children in developing countries for a year.
WFP hopes the United States will be able to donate enough money to feed 10 million of those children.
“I have seen with my own eyes what a difference a simple cup of nutritious porridge can make in a child’s life,” said the Barrymore, who has traveled to Kenya twice in the past two years for WFP. “It helps them learn, stay healthy and sets them on track for a bright future. I urge everyone — everywhere — to help WFP ‘Fill the Cup’ for hungry children, and make hunger history.”
WFP’s executive director Josette Sheeran, said $50 “fills a child’s cup for a year.” Last year the organization provided more than 20 million school children with a daily cup of porridge, rice or beans and also gave many girls a monthly ration to take home to their families. The Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards were just announced! A big green Ogre edged out the teen pop princess for most nominations. The film “Shrek The Third” received a leading four nominations. While young Miley Cyrus was nominated for favorite female singer and female actress and her television show “Hannah Montana” received a favorite TV show nomination. As part of Fashion Week, a star-studded benefit was held at the United Nations sponsored by Gucci Wednesday night. Madonna, Chris Rock and many other celebrities raised $3.7 million to help poor and sick children around the world.
The $2,500-a-plate dinner and live auction hosted by Chris Rock was an unusual blend of charity and commercial promotion for the U.N.. It made some of its officials, including Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon, uneasy, because the U.N. had never before granted permission to a company to erect tents on the north lawn of the U.N. for such a lavish event with a commercial tie-in.
Gucci, paid the costs, and more or less dedicated the event to the Friday opening of its Manhattan flagship store on Fifth Avenue and put its logo and UNICEF’s behind the walkway where celebrities were photographed.
Alicia Barcena Ibarra, Ban’s undersecretary general for administration and management, said her office “should have investigated more fully” before it approved UNICEF’S request to hold the event. Barcena Ibarra said she did not believe it was correct for Gucci to publicize the event in conjunction with the opening of a new store “and I think we have to look into that.”
Ban nonetheless told reporters Tuesday he was confident there would be no problems.
Despite the commercial promotion tensions, Gucci lured some of the biggest celebrities in the world to their party. The red-carpet reception drew stars such as Drew Barrymore, Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher, Amy Adams, Brooke Shields, Salma Hayek, Djimon Hounsou, Dita Von Teese and UNICEF Ambassadors Tea Leoni and Lucy Liu, followed by a cocktail party with the likes of Donald Trump and media mogul Barry Diller.
And the Celebrities paid $2,500 to $10,000 each to dine on grappa-cured salmon, wild striped bass, tart of goat cheese, foraged mushrooms, truffled mashed potatoes and sticky toffee pudding with creme fraiche.
Madonna played videos of Malawi and introduced children from the southern African country. Rihanna, Timbaland and Alicia Keys played music afterward.
The celebrity auction was a big success.
Tom Cruise bid $100,000 for a sports package that included the privilege of hanging out at Yankee Stadium with Alex Rodriguez and a private hour playing soccer with David Beckham, but lost out to a bidder who stepped up with $350,000.
A trip to Paris with a tour of a vineyard and lunch with Francois-Henri Pinault and Salma Hayek went for $120,000. The priciest auction item was a tour with Madonna and take a dance class with her and Gwyneth Paltrow, which brought in a winning bid of $600,000.

Even though her latest film, “Rendition,” was a flop, Reese Witherspoon is a moneymaker. The 31-year-old Academy Award winner commands $15 million to $20 million a movie, placing her at the top of The Hollywood Reporter’s annual list of the highest-paid actresses.
Angelina Jolie came in second with similar salary demands, though the animated “Beowulf” earned the 32-year-old actress far less - just $8 million.
Cameron Diaz was third, with a $15 million-per-movie price tag. Nicole Kidman dropped to fourth place, two spots lower than last year, with an asking price of $10 million to $15 million a film.
Renee Zellweger and Sandra Bullock also get $10 to $15 million paychecks. So does Julia Roberts, who hasn’t appeared on the big screen since 2004. Her next film, “Charlie Wilson’s War,” is due in theaters in December.
Rounding out the top 10 are Drew Barrymore and Jodie Foster, who ask $10 million to $12 million per project, and Halle Berry, who gets $10 million a picture.
The salary list appears in The Hollywood Reporter’s “Women in Entertainment: Power 100″ issue, on newsstands Tuesday.

Drew Barrymore spent a long holiday weekend back in her boyfriend Justin Long’s hometown of Fairfield, Conn. The He’s Just Not That Into You co-stars had Thanksgiving dinner with Long’s family.
Then, on Friday, Justin showed Drew his old stomping grounds. I can imagine this was Justin’s fantasy come true to bring a Hollywood star back to his hometown to meet his friends. The couple reportedly kicked back at the nearby Southport Brewing Company, where they shared some late-night cocktails, laughs and, yes, a smattering of smooches.
Long also recently filed a new entry on his official Web site, saying he was headed to the East coast to see his “girlfriend” and spend Thanksgiving with “the fam.” He also raved about Flower Films, Barrymore’s production company.
The two were first linked together in late summer.

The list of divaliciuos celebs is on the up, with Match Point actress Scarlett Johansson the latest inductee.
According to a source from the set of her new movie, He’s Just Not That Into You, Ms. Johansson “had a driver shuttle her the 100 yards to the set,” while also demanding “three assistants to shield her with umbrellas” during the trek.
Scarlett’s co-star on the film, movie veteran Drew Barrymore, chose to walk to the set instead of taking a shuttle.
“Scarlett’s a total diva,” the source told UsWeekly.com. “Some people are cool, and others are not.”

Drew Barrymore and Jessica Lange will star in an HBO movie adaptation of “Grey Gardens,” the 1975 documentary about Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis’ eccentric cousin and aunt.
The story follows the relationship between the mother-daughter duo of “Big Edie” (Lange) and “Little Edie” Beale (Barrymore), who spent most of their lives in a decaying mansion on New York’s Long Island.
The project was originally announced as a feature film in early 2006, though HBO Films was not involved at the time. It’s yet to be determined if the movie will be released theatrically before it airs on HBO.
Edith Ewing Bouvier Beale and her daughter Edith Bouvier Beale made national headlines in 1971 when the Suffolk County Health Department raided their dilapidated East Hampton, N.Y., mansion — named Grey Gardens — and found more than 50 cats, raccoons, fleas, piles of garbage, human and cat excrement and no heat or running water. The department threatened to kick the pair out of the 28-room mansion before Kennedy Onassis stepped in and paid to help clean it up. Their story was documented by “Gimme Shelter” directors Albert and David Maysles.
Big Edie died in 1977, and Little Edie sold the house to Washington Post editor Ben Bradlee and his wife Sally Quinn two years later. She became a nightclub singer, moved to Florida and died in 2002.
It’s not the first time the documentary has been adapted. In spring 2006, “Grey Gardens” opened as a musical at Playwright Horizons before moving to Broadway in November at the Walter Kerr Theatre. The show, starring Christine Ebersole and Mary Louise Wilson — both of whom won Tony Awards for their roles — ended its Broadway run in July. Ebersole will reprise her role when the show opens this season in London.
Barrymore’s upcoming credits include the films “He’s Just Not That Into You” and “South of the Border.” Lange’s recent credits include CBS’ “Sybil” and the film “Bonneville.”

Drew Barrymore and Justin Long (you may know him as “the Mac guy”) may be more than just co-stars in the upcoming He’s Just Not That Into You. Drew and Justin were first spotted together at Chateau Marmont August 28 then later over the holiday weekend in Las Vegas at Jet Nightclub, where they were reportedly all over each other.
