Lily Allen and an open bar usually spells embarrassment. And so we had Lily co-hosting the GQ Awards in London with Elton John, taking advantage of the free champagne. As the evening wore on, things gradually deteriorated as Lily continually sipped champagne on stage.
The 23-year-old, decked out in an extravagant ballgown, soon began slurring, swearing and ad-libbing, and it was only a matter of time before she and a frustrated Elton clashed.
When she came to announce ‘and now the most important part of the night’, Elton chipped in ‘What? Are you going to have another drink?’
Embarrassed, Lily didn’t let Elton get the last laugh. She hissed back:
‘F*** off Elton. I am 40 years younger than you and have my whole life ahead of me!’
The shocked audience which included Led Zeppelin, London Mayor Boris Johnson, Elizabeth Hurley, Elle Macpherson, Thandie Newton and Mark Ronson, fell silent.
A clearly rattled Elton replied ‘I could still snort you under the table’. To which she replied: ‘F*** off. I don’t know what you are talking about.’
Cocaine usage perhaps?
On more than one occasion, Elton could be seen having a stern word with Lily in the wings between awards.
Apparently the words had little effect and Lily barely made it off the stage after the awards ended - before drinking even more at the afterparty.
Allen also sparked rumors her brother Alfie is engaged to Ray Winstone’s daughter Jaime - after perhaps letting slip the good news at the awards ceremony.
The Smile star welcomed Winstone’s actress daughter onto the stage, telling the shocked audience, “Introducing my soon-to-be-sister-in-law, Jaime Winstone.” Despite Winstone pleading with the singer to stay quiet, Allen then yelled, “Show off your rock (ring), show off your diamond.” Alfie Allen, 21, has been dating the 23-year-old since last year.

If the pics look photoshopped, that’s because they are. Hurley admitted to the Sunday Times:
“I can’t think of anything worse in the world than another bikini shoot – and I’ve got two next month. It’s unbearable, and I bring it all on myself. I’ve got nobody else to blame. It’s literallah torture. If you get a photographer you don’t know, of course, you think, ‘Oh God.’ But if you signed on for the gig, sadly, you have to go and be jolly in a skimpy white bikini. Rumor is that Elizabeth Hurley may be pregnant with her second child after showing “a little bump” at a Breast Cancer Research Foundation event in New York last week. What really got the rumor going was Fellow Hottest Pink Party Ever guest Elton John. Pretty in Pink Elton, who gave the actress away at her wedding last year, was overheard congratulating Hurley’s husband Indian businessman Arun Nayar.
An In Touch magazine source said, “Elton kissed and hugged Elizabeth and congratulated Arun.
“They seemed to be giggling over their little secret.”
Hurley wore a pink tummy-covering sari to the event, abstained from alcohol and “carried her clutch in front of her belly.”
The insider reports, “But you could still see a little bump.”
The 42-year-old actress has a 6-year-old son with producer Steve Bing, but is for now refusing to confirm reports she is pregnant again.

Another day, another pregnancy rumor. This time, Liz Hurley is at the center of speculation. When her longtime friend Elton John ran up to Hurley at the Breast Cancer Research Foundation’s Hottest Pink Party Ever in NYC on April 8, Life & Style magazine reports that John then “rubbed her tummy,� and he raised his eyebrows.
“Elton kissed and hugged Elizabeth and congratulated Arun,� a witness told the magazine. “They seemed to be giggling over their little secret.� Hurley also wore a tummy-covering sari to the event and, said the witness, abstained from alcohol.

Sheryl Crow is reportedly dating Elizabeth Hurley’s ex, movie producer Steve Bing. Bing and Hurley had a son together, Damien. Bing filed a lawsuit against Hurley in 2001 to establish whether he was the father of Damien, now four. A DNA test subsequently proved that the baby was his.
Crow and Bing have kept their relationship quiet since being introduced by mutual friend Jennifer Aniston last year. Recently Crow claimed that Aniston had dumped husband Brad Pitt rather than the other way around.
Bing and Crow have now reportedly grown closer and a source told Star Magazine:
“A few weeks ago things got a little more intimate between them. They are really bonding - they have more in common than anyone thought.”

ELIZABETH Hurley and her husband, Arun Nayar, are multimillionaires many times over, but they’re also accused of being skinflints - paying their Indian maid just $200 a week for endless hours of cooking, cleaning and baby-sitting, according to published reports.
Violet D’Souza, 31, accused the “Austin Powers” star and her spouse of forking over as little as $2.33 an hour for as many as 70 hours of work a week in the couple’s fashionable Chelsea (London) home, Britain’s Mirror and Daily Mail both reported. Adding insult to injury, they allegedly paid her in the Indian currency of rupees.
D’Souza was set to take her case to an employment tribunal today - but the hearing was canceled at the 11th hour late yesterday after the distressed domestic was offered a five-figure settlement, according to the newspapers.
Hurley’s lawyer, Jake Bloom, had no comment for Page Six, and her agent, Allison Band, did not return our call.
The London reports say d’Souza worked up to seven days a week, with her chores starting at 7:30 a.m. and sometimes lasting until 3 the next morning, with Hurley and Nayar rewarding her with a weekly 8,000 rupees. The equivalent hourly rate worked out to between $2.72 and $3.10, but was sometimes as low as $2.33 if she worked lengthy hours. In Britain, the legal minimum wage is $10.71.
Hurley, 42, is believed to be worth $25 million from acting and modeling, while Nayar, 43, is an heir to a fabulously rich Indian textiles family in Mumbai. D’Souza is believed to have worked for the family before Nayar brought her to London in 2003. She brought an action of breach of contract after being dismissed by the couple last August.
A spokesman for Kingsway Tribunal Center, where the case was to be heard, said yesterday, “We can confirm that the claim has been withdrawn and the pre-hearing review has been canceled but cannot discuss the reasons.”
Hurley, who wed Nayar last March, has a 5-year-old son by billionaire businessman Steve Bing named Damian, whose godparents include Elton John, Hugh Grant, Denis Leary, Victoria and David Beckham and the late Heath Ledger.

Hugh Grant had a little sleaze with his sushi when he shocked diners at chic West End Japanese restaurant Roka by engaging in a bizarre three-way make-out session with a woman while a male friend caressed her thigh, according to a report in UK newspaper The Mirror.
One observer described the scene as “…disgusting. Hugh and the girl were completely going for it. It was brazen. But he didn’t seem to care.â€?
Witnesses described the Bridget Jones’s Diary star as appearing tired and emotional as he canoodled with the woman while the male friend tried to appear as if he wasn’t doing anything. Today, The Mirror identified the woman as ex-porn star Shu Qi, 31, and the male friend as director John Duigan (the 58-year-old previously dated Thandie Newton, when she was just 16). Shu has starred in such films as Sex and Zen II and has posed in a variety of adult magazines.
An attempt was made to interrogate Hugh, 47, at his home in London, but his response, made through the intercom, was eloquently, “**** off.�
Hugh is no stranger to beautiful women or vulgar behavior. He famously dated Elizabeth Hurley and Jemima Khan, and was notoriously arrested in 1995 for engaging in lewd behavior with Los Angeles prostitute Divine Brown.

Hugh Grant and ex-girlfriend and now married Elizabeth Hurley are going to great lengths not to be seen and photographed together.Â
The pair were spotted in arrivals at JFK airport in New York - but took great pains to avoid being seen together.  Hugh left JFK airport using a different exit then Liz, and arrived at the same hotel in the early evening about 2 minutes apart. An hour later, Hugh emerged from the hotel, having changed into a black suit, and walked a few blocks down the road.  Just minutes afterwards a car arrived to pick Liz up and she hopped into the vehicle. In a bizarre scene, the car then drove two blocks, picked up Hugh on the street corner and headed to a dinner party hosted by Valentino. Two blocks from the party, you guessed it, Hugh got out so they wouldn’t be seen arriving together.
The pair had lunch together the next day and used the same tactics to arrive and leave separately.  The funny thing is it’s well known the former couple are great friends. In October, Hugh joined Elizabeth, new husband Arun Nayar and five-year-old son Damian on a family holiday in the Maldives. I think they are just trying to avoid stirring things up by being seen together but of course in the process it creates a lot of curiousity.

Elizabeth Hurley wants to give her kid a complex! Why else would she dress her young son Damian in a pink bikini and plaster it all over her personal website for advertising?
After public outrage, Liz has been forced to remove the image from her site, which was promoting her new children’s swimwear line.
A source explains Liz’s insistence to use her son for the shots: “Liz suggested Damian pose in the bikini. Other people were uncomfortable with it but she insisted.”
At this stage, Liz has refused to comment.
What a wacko! Next thing we know, she’ll be buying her son twirling ballerina Barbie and taking him to day spas with her for a manicure and pedicure…

Doing nothing to dispell stereotype of Brits being panty-waisted sissies, Hugh Grant was ARRESTED in London for throwing a can of baked beans at a photographer. As if this wasn’t enough to make Hugh a first-ballot entrant into the All-Time Wuss Hall of Fame, he also allegedly kicked the man before hurling a can of frozen food at him.
There is so much going on here, that I don’t know where to start. For starters, none of us should be surprised that the star of such Action Adventures as Notting Hill, Two Weeks’ Notice, Four Weddings and a Funeral (need I continue?), assaulted someone with a grocery store product. Hugh got his frequent-bitch boy card punched long ago. Can you imagine Matthew McConaughey kicking a photographer? Hell no. Wooderson would have just mowed the dude down with his ‘67 Chevy SS on the way to the Moontower.
What is shocking is that this waste 0f a penis managed to date ELIZABETH FREAKIN’ HURLEY for the better part of a decade. And this was before Liz got all knocked up and fat! Hottiepants Elizabeth Hurley & her recent lavish wedding have apparently pissed off her Indian in-laws.
According to TMZ, Hurley’s father-in-law is lashing out at the actress & her new hubby Arun Nayer.
Hurley hater in-law Vinod Nayer stated, “Liz and Arun have treated us very shabbily.”
“I feel that Liz and Arun behaved shamefully and placed more importance on showing off than their own family.”
The father-in-law went on to say that the newly married couple made he & his wife feel like “social outcasts” at their wedding where guests like Elton John & Elle Macpherson received more attention.
According to her new family, they have “cut all ties” to the newlyweds.
Ouch, that one’s just gotta sting a bit. I dunno, guys. I have too much love for Liz to think she would knowingly behave that way. What do you think?
