With rumours again rife that Madonna and Guy Ritchie’s marriage is on the rocks, The Daily Mail is reporting that the couple have turned to the Kabbalah to help them through their latest problems.
They have been having private ‘teachings’ at their local centre in Oxford Street, London, every Friday night.
Perhaps appropriately for a couple who by all accounts lead separate lives, they have separate teachers, but for the past month they have been meeting together for prayers and blessings.
‘They are having counselling, which everyone who goes to the Kabbalah has,’ says my source.
‘We call them teachings and Guy takes them very seriously, but for a while Madonna stopped going.
‘Guy would go to meetings with the children on Friday nights, then Madonna would turn up for the dinner.
‘For the past few weeks, though, she has been going for prayers. She and Guy have had joint blessings by her rabbi Eitan Yardeni who has been her teacher for many years.
Guy has another teacher called Marcus Weston who has been really supportive. It really hasn’t been an easy time in the Ritchie household.’
Guy was pictured last week on a night out with male friends and sources say he and Madonna, who turns 50 and embarks on a world tour later this year, plan to spend most of the summer apart.
‘Madonna leaves for New York in a couple of days and will be staying at her recently extended and refurbished apartment.
She is taking her kids and her entourage, not Guy, although he may well fly out for appearances’ sake.
‘He just wants to be in London preparing for the release of his movie RocknRolla and spending some time with his friends.’
Meanwhile, I’m told the couple’s celebrity friends have also stepped in to help keep the Ritchies on track.
‘Gwyneth Paltrow has been to the Kabbalah dinners with Madonna – and Sting and Trudie, who introduced them, have been on the phone all the time,’ adds my spy.

Coldplay singer Chris Martin admits he was a late bloomer.
He tells the new issue of Rolling Stone (on newsstands now), “I had a tricky time with girls until I was, like, 21.
“I got trapped in the friendship tip many, many times,” adds Martin, whose band’s new disc Viva La Vida drops June 17.
“It was like, ‘I need to be a rock star because this is no good: Being the kind of guy that everybody likes but no one wants to have sex with,’” Martin recalls. “I don’t want to be the person that makes everybody laugh before they go off and bang. I want to be the guy that everybody bangs.”
Still, he admits he hasn’t had a lot of hot-and-heavy romances in his life.
He says Gwyneth Paltrow is his only “serious relationship.
“Is that weird? I don’t think it’s that weird,” the singer says. “It wouldn’t be weird 200 years ago… Think of Romeo and Juliet.”
He says that he enjoys the challenge of being married to the Oscar-winner, with whom he has two children: Apple, 4, and Moses, 2.
“I always felt it would be great to be with a very powerful woman because it would keep you in your place,” he says. “Being married to someone very successful and very powerful basically keeps you hungry to improve.”
Addressing her relationship with ex Brad Pitt, he adds: “You’ve got to be hungry. If your wife went out with Brad Pitt, you’d want to prove yourself, you know what I mean?”

Like Angelina Jolie, Gwyneth Paltrow doesn’t mind being pregnant.
“I may force myself to do it one more time because the result is so worth it,” she reveals in July’s Harper’s Bazaar. “And also my [late] dad said to me that his only regret in life was that he had only two children and he didn’t have more.”
She says she is also “open” to adopting.
“I do feel we’re so fortunate, and we kind of owe it to humanity,” says the 35-year-old actress, who works out three hours a day. “We have a lot of love to give and a lot of resources.?

Gwyneth Paltrow’s showing off a bold new look on the latest cover of V Magazine – photographed by Mario Sorrenti – and in it, the Iron Man actress spills new details about her home life, her post-baby weight loss, and her indulgence in certain chocolate-chip “vices.”
But how did she make the jump from motherhood back to movies? “I have an amazing nanny,” she tells the magazine, on newsstands May 15. “I didn’t have one till Apple was 14 months old, but then, because we were going on tour [with husband Chris Martin’s band Coldplay], we found someone fantastic. She’s been with us ever since.
Without her, “I was really tired. … [but] obsessed – madly, deeply in love – with my daughter. I wanted to be with her all day long. I was under a crazy spell. I still am, but I’ve had to adjust to reality more.”
Another rough part of parenthood? Losing the baby weight!
“I put on 40 pounds with Moses. And I found it really hard to loose the last 20 pounds,” Paltrow, 35, admits. “I didn’t mind having the big boobs. But it was the stomach roll, the back fat, and the post-pregnant butt. And it was so hard to get rid of.”
She did it with by eating “organic, seasonal food that isn’t processed.”
“I haven’t eaten meat for about fifteen years. I eat fish, a little bit of dairy – not much milk – but I love cheese,” she adds. “We’ll make chocolate chip cookies and eat them, but sugar makes me feel pretty bad. I have coffee and wine. I’ve got lots of lovely vices!”

People Magazine’s new issue features Mariah Carey’s wedding photo on the cover. Mimi looks so in love and of course Nick is all smiles, because he just won the lottery! Mariah told People Magazine that she feels Nick is her “soulmate.” Nick said, “I never felt a love like this was in the cards for me. Gwyneth Paltrow and Robert Downey Jr.’s new film Iron Man earned an amazing $104.2 million over the weekend. You heard that right, a superhero movie starring Gwyneth “fake British accent” Paltrow made $100 million+ in its first weekend. Us Weekly says:
Combined with international sales, Iron Man earned $201 million — the highest of Downey Jr’s. career. It was the best weekend opening for a non-sequel since Spider-Man — which made $114.8 million on the same weekend in 2002 — and the 10th best opening of all time. (Source)
$104 million? That’s almost enough money to cover Robert’s coke habit. Two more sequels and this movie franchise might actually break even. We should be proud of him though — it’s no small feat to be a recovering coke addict that picks himself up from the gutter and ends up making meaningful contributions to our society . . . just ask the current president. Don’t laugh democrats, Barack Obama was a bedwetter until 26.

“Iron Man” made $100.8 million this weekend scoring the second-highest opening weekend ever for a non-sequel behind fellow Marvel Comic adaptation Spider Man. It also scored the tenth highest opening overall. The worldwide total box office take was $201 million with the $96.7 million haul in 57 countries outside the U.S.
This is the first release by Marvel Studios (distributed by Paramount) featuring Robert Downey Jr. as billionaire arms designer Tony Stark, a hard drinking womanizer. The character has a change of heart after he’s taken captive and sees firsthand the devastation his weapons cause, and builds a high-tech suit to become a superhero.
The film is directed by Jon Favreau, and also stars Gwyneth Paltrow, Jeff Bridges and Terrence Howard.
And Iron Man 2 is already in the works, with an already announced release date of April 30, 2010. And Marvel’s movie, titled The Avengers, even has a release date. It’s set to come out in July 2011. Things are looking well for Marvel, who’s also set to release The Incredible Hulk later this summer, along with Punisher: War Zone in December. Marvel hopes to release “Thor,” from director Matthew Vaughan (”Stardust”), on July 4, 2010.
It appears 2011 will mark an “Avengers”-themed summer for Marvel. It’s The First Avenger: Captain America is set to be release on May 6, 2011, followed of course by the July release of The Avengers.

They say that time heals all wounds, so one would imagine that almost ten years after their split, Gwyneth Paltrow would only have nice things to say about her former fiancé Brad Pitt, who is expecting yet another child with gal-pal Angelina Jolie and who sources tell OK! is getting ever closer to walking down the aisle for a second time.
However, when OK! caught up with Gwyneth at the L.A. premiere for her upcoming film Iron Man on Wednesday, the Oscar-winner didn’t even play the usual “I-wish-them-the-best” lip service that celebrity exes are famous for spouting.
Asked if she had any well wishes to share with her one-time better half, the Shakespeare In Love star twisted her mouth and pertly pronounced “No!”
Perhaps Gwyneth was merely in a bad mood or just didn’t feel like talking about her former flame. In previous interviews, she’s actually blamed herself for the split with Brad, saying she was lucky to have spent some of her life with her Se7en co-star, “especially when I was such a mess.”

Gwyneth Paltrow skipped out on a $100k+ dinner thrown in her honor last week in London. After the premiere of Paltrow’s latest film Iron Man, 30 of her close friends and family — including her husband Chris Martin’s parents — were invited to the exclusive Cocoon restaurant. Just minutes before she was supposed to arrive, Paltrow called a Paramount executive at the party and told him she was going to a different restaurant instead. A source told England’s Daily Mail:
“A lot of thought and money had gone into the party. Gwyneth had specifically asked for chilled bottles of Perrier Jouet champagne and some vodka cocktails to get the party going. Everything was in place and had been arranged around her. Apparently someone at Paramount got a call saying Gwyneth and Chris were going for dinner and wouldn’t be coming. The senior execs were not at all happy. To make matters even worse, the other star of the movie, Robert Downey Jnr, was with her – so there were no stars at the party at all. There were a lot of embarrassed faces. No one could believe that all of Chris’s family had made the trip to London, only for their son and daughter-in-law not to turn up.
“Gwyneth was due to arrive at 10.30pm and had demanded a special entrance so that she and Chris would not be photographed together. They have a pact never to be photographed together and everyone had to go to ridiculous lengths to ensure no one could get a picture, including a ban on cameras inside the venue.” (Source)

Beyoncé and Jay-Z are mum, but their paperwork is doing the talking for them: The couple filed their signed wedding license Friday in Scarsdale, N.Y., PEOPLE has confirmed exclusively.
Scarsdale Town Clerk Donna Conkling tells PEOPLE the license – which lists the wedding date as April 4 – was received on Friday afternoon. The couple applied for the license just three days before the ceremony attended by friends and family, including Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowles, her father/manager Mathew, her sister Solange, her Destiny’s Child pals Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, and the couple’s friend Gwyneth Paltrow.
Although the couple’s license was filed more than five days after the wedding – as required by law – Conkling tells PEOPLE it’s expected to be processed with the state without a penalty. (No special celeb treatment here: Conkling says the penalty is frequently waived.)
Though sources confirmed the wedding to PEOPLE, the couple have remained silent about their nuptials. Shortly after the wedding, Beyonce was spotted with a ring while joining Jay-Z on tour, but neither of them have publicly stepped out with new jewelry.

Gwyneth Paltrow reveals in the May issue of Vogue that she battled post-partum depression after welcoming her second child, son Moses, in 2006.
“I didn’t know I had it until after it was over,” the actress, 35, says. “I just didn’t know what was wrong with me.”
She suspects her depression stemmed from scaling back on her usual pre-baby treatments like acupuncture.
“I felt really out of my body,” Paltrow says after giving birth. “I felt really disconnected. I felt really down … I felt pessimistic.?

The guests wore white – and Gwyneth Paltrow was no exception.
When Beyoncé Knowles wed longtime boyfriend Jay-Z in New York City April 4, good pal Paltrow donned a bone silk gazar minidress with full sleeves, which she borrowed from top designer Proenza Schouler.
“It was arranged last minute,” a rep for the designer tells PEOPLE, adding that the frock was a sample from the fall/winter 2008 collection and is not yet in stores.
Did the 35-year-old actress mention that she’d be wearing it to the top-secret nuptials (which have not yet been confirmed by the couple, although Knowles has been spotted wearing a ring)?
“No, we had no idea,” says the rep. “We just knew it was for a private event. No one knew about the wedding until day of.”

It was the blinging R&B wedding of the decade but no guns allowed, as Beyonce became Mrs Jay-Z.
The private ceremony was followed by a lavish party at the rapper’s Tribeca apartment in New York in front of family and A-list pals, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Chris Martin and Destiny Child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.
Guests were instructed to leave mobile phones and cameras at home and Beyonce’s family insisted a burly security team frisked any lesser-knowns.
Supposedly three guns were left in an amnesty box outside Jay-Z’s Tribeca apartment. Who said romance was dead, eh?
And it was an all-white theme of white roses, orchids, diamond-encrusted candelabras and a plush Egyptian cotton-lined marquee.
A source said: “It was such a romantic evening. Beyonce’s mom had been chief wedding planner and spent nearly $1.5 million on decor and flowers, making sure everything was all-white on the night.” And, of course, all the guests sported the color.
The couple, who have been together for six years, finally tied the knot and afterward, Jay-Z, 38, real name Shawn Carter, then made an emotional speech praising his lovely bride.
And Beyonce 26, serenaded her new husband by singing a Natasha Bedingfield inspired tune, with the words: “I love you, I love you, I love you.”
When the disco started with DJ Cassidy, a favorite of Jay-Z, doing the spining, and the newlyweds’ hit Crazy In Love came on, Beyonce performed a raunchy dance for Jay.
And the newlyweds made a dash for their crystal filled bedroom just before midnight.
Adds the source: “Beyonce had imposed a no-sex rule three weeks ahead of the ceremony.”

Beyoncé Knowles has married rapper Jay-Z in a private ceremony in New York.
The couple’s parents joined a group of close celebrity pals, including Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin, as well as Beyoncé’s bandmates in Destiny’s Child Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, and her sister Solange.
Jay-Z – real name Shawn Carter – and 26-year-old Beyoncé applied for a marriage licence last Tuesday and married on Friday night.
They then threw a lavish party at Jay’s apartment in the fashionable New York district of TriBeCa.
A large white marquee was erected on the top of the building and audio-visual equipment, large flower arrangements and a 5ft tall candelabra were also brought in.
Celebrity florist Amy’s Orchids was hired to provide more than 50,000 white orchids from Thailand.
Guests – all the women wore white – were banned from bringing mobile phones inside and had to leave them with their chauffeurs.
A friend told People magazine late on Friday night: “It happened earlier this evening. Jay wanted it to be a really private affair – close friends and family.”
Earlier, Rowland and Williams had posted a video of themselves on YouTube from their room at the Four Seasons hotel in which they teased viewers that they were at an ‘undisclosed location’ and refused to say why they were making the flying visit to New York.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z, 37, have been together for six years after teaming up for the rapper’s single 03 Bonnie & Clyde.
They also collaborated on her hit singles Crazy In Love and Déjà Vu.

People Magazine cornered a family friend who said, “It happened earlier this evening. Jay wanted it to be a really private affair – close friends and family.”
The wedding buzz began when the couple went to get a marriage license at a village hall in Scarsdale, N.Y., on Tuesday. A couple since 2002, Jay-Z, 38, and Knowles, 26, always kept quiet about their relationship, even as they were photographed together on romantic holidays around the world. Madonna has been working out for two hours, six days a week - and boy does it show.
The pop star unveiled biceps of comic-book proportions as she left the gym following her latest vigorous fitness session in London today.
Dressed in adidas tracksuit pants, a tight Nike vest and a hooded jacket hanging over her head, it was her bulging muscles that really had heads turning.
Madonna, who is famous for her punishing exercise regime, was joined by her pint-sized personal trainer and constant gym companion Tracy Anderson, whom she was referred to by best friend Gwyneth Paltrow.
Of the star, Tracy will say only: “It comes down to whether or not you are a hard worker and someone who puts in 100 percent.
“I prefer to train with the dedicated and these women aren’t afraid to work.”
With her 50th birthday less than five months away, Madonna seems more determined than ever to be in great shape, but her increasingly muscular appearance suggests she may be trying too hard.
Last month there was even speculation the image-concious star had undergone plastic surgery after she was seen with a bruised face and eyes.
The mother of three is currently preparing to embark on a promotional tour for of the release of her new album Hard Candy, which sees her duetting with Justin Timberlake.

Courtney wants to put her legendary wild lifestyle behind her and is planning a move to the quaint British countryside in order to get away from “dirty Los Angeles?.
“I am fed up with Los Angeles. It’s dirty and full of crazy people,? she said.
Love has also been been romantically linked to a string of British men — and insists, “English men are more fun. I love all things British.?
Courtney has been viewing houses in the $10m range in Sunningdale, Berkshire, close to Prince Andrew’s home.
She reportedly viewed Kate Moss’ $7m North London home, but said: “It was too small and I don’t want to live in the city.
“I love the greenery and the freshness of the countryside. It is just a healthier place for me to be.
“I’ve been house-hunting seriously and I’ll know as soon as I find the perfect place.?
Love inherited Cobain’s $70 million fortune when he committed suicide in 1994. The couple’s daughter Frances Bean is now 15.
Courtney said: “Hollywood is not a healthy place for a teenager to grow up. “There are too many bad influences. Frances is also looking forward to the move to England.?

The widow of Nirvana singer Kurt Cobain is to become the latest American star to move to Britain.
Courtney Love says she is quitting the US and wants to put her legendary wild lifestyle behind her and settle in the English countryside.
“I am fed up with Los Angeles. It’s dirty and full of crazy people. I want a complete lifestyle change. People criticise Britain but it is still a cleaner, safer place to live than Hollywood,” she said.
Ms Love, 43, has been looking at houses in the £5 million range in Sunningdale, Berkshire, close to Prince Andrew’s home.
The area is renowned for its large mansions and is popular with professional golfers.
She has viewed Kate Moss’s £3.5 million house in St John’s Wood, North London, but said: “It was too small and I don’t want to live in the city.
“I love the greenery and the freshness of the countryside. It is just a healthier place for me to be. I’ve been house-hunting seriously and I’ll know as soon as I find the perfect place.”

Madonna and Guy Ritchie put on a united front last night in an effort to quash rampant rumours their marriage is in trouble.
The couple linked arms as the arrived for an intimate dinner at their favourite haunt, Harry’s Bar & Grill in London’s Mayfair.
It’s the first time the pair have been photographed together since they visited India in early January.
It was the second night out in a row for Madonna - she dined with her close friend Gwyneth Paltrow at Locanda Locatelli restaurant on Monday evening.
Sources claim the couple, who married in 2000, are increasing living separate lives, with Ritchie’s father John revealing: “They’re not spending any time together.”
He told Closer magazine: “Madonna is busy in America with the children, and Guy wants to stay in the UK. They won’t be spending Easter together either.”
Madonna’s spokesperson has hit back at the claims, insisting “all is well and wonderful in the Ritchie household.”
The representative added: “Though they were in different countries recently… the family are joyfully back together at home in London.”
The couple are parents to three children - Lourdes, 11, Rocco, 7, and David, 2, whom they are in the process of adopting.
Madonna is preparing for the April release of her new album Hard Candy, which features production by Pharrell Williams, Timbaland and Nate “Danja” Hills as well as an appearance by Justin Timberlake.
For his part, Guy has been working on his new film RocknRolla, which stars Thandie Newton and Gerard Butler.
