Damn, if this chick thinks she’s fat, normal chicks don’t stand a chance. Kate Beckinsale has “demanded” a body double for certain scenes in her new film Whiteout because she thinks she’s fat and doesn’t want to bare her naked butt. A source told the Daily Mail:
“Kate has a terrible self-image. She thinks she is fat and she is always complaining how certain outfits make her bottom look big. Of course, the reality is that she has the most amazing body. The script called for her character to be filmed nude in a shower, focusing in on her bottom and thighs. Kate insisted on a double being hired. She was quite open on the set about not liking her body and said she particularly loathed her bottom and was not comfortable baring it. Kate just didn’t want to show her bottom, even though everyone on the set was saying how good it looks in jeans. She said she couldn’t face the thought of seeing her butt up on a big screen. Kate Beckinsale has supposedly demanded a body double for her latest film because she feels self-conscious about the size of her bottom. Hey who doesn’t?
Even though Kate has a slim, toned figure that most women would die for, she allegedly refused to bare her derrière while shooting a shower scene in new movie Whiteout - forcing producers to hire a $2,000 -a-day model to stand in for the star.
A source tells The UK Daily Mail: “The script called for her character to be filmed nude in a shower, focusing in on her bottom and thighs. “Kate insisted on a double being hired. She was quite open on the set about not liking her body and said she particularly loathed her bottom and was not comfortable baring it.”
A last-minute call for a double went out on a Hollywood casting website last week for scenes that begin shooting tomorrow.
Silver Pictures advertised for a 5ft 8in brunette, weighing just under 134lbs. It added: “It’s a shower scene so there is no intimacy.”
Kate plays a US marshal tracking a killer in Antarctica in the $50 million drama.

Producers on her new film Whiteout have been forced to hire a “£1,000-a-day” body double, because Beckinsale “loathes” her behind so much that she’s refused to show it on camera!

The nude scenes are supposed to begin shooting tomorrow.
While the producers were the ones to put out the call, the source revealed that Kate will have the final say on who will play her ass in the film.
“Kate just didn’t want to show her bottom, even though everyone on the set was saying how good it looks in jeans,” the source added. “She said she couldn’t face the thought of seeing her butt up on a big screen. She will have the final veto over who stands in for her.”
In the film, which is set for release later this year, Kate plays a U.S. marshal tracking a serial killer in Antarctica.

The newspaper stated that the former child star had been constantly “dogged by rumours she [is a] lesbian,” and that Panettiere proved, for once, that the gossip was true when she hinted at the possibility of having an affair with some on Hollywood’s hottest leading ladies.

In what is sure to disappoint all heterosexual males out there (I know I am bloody disappointed), She Of The Magic Schmoo, Kate Beckinsale has vowed never to appear naked in a movie.
The reason for this is the traumatic experience Kate herself suffered as a child after her mummy got her kit off for a TV show.
Talking to AOL Movies, Kate said:
“My mum was an actress, and she did a nude scene on television when I was about 9 or 10, and the crisis I had when everyone came to school the next day and told me they’d seen my mother naked just makes me kind of, you know … I’m not in a big rush to do that to my child.
“She’s embarrassed enough that I’m an actress at all, without me being naked as well.”
I wonder what Kate’s daughter thinks about her mum’s recent announcements; see here. Yep, nothing disturbing there to get teased about!

Victoria Beckham has added yet another A-list star to her Rolodex - British film star Kate Beckinsale.
After dining together at STK restaurant in West Hollywood on Friday night, the new best friends teamed up again for a day out with their families at the Getty Centre Museum in Los Angeles in LA yesterday.
Posh and Kate, who are both 34, each wore oversized sunglasses, towering heels and big designer handbags during the outing.
They were joined by Victoria’s sons Brooklyn, 9, Romeo, 5, and Cruz, 3, Kate’s husband Len Wiseman and their 9-year-old daughter, Lily.
David, however, was otherwise occupied - he is currently training with England ahead of Wednesday’s match against France in Paris.

Cox Calls on Friends to Help Raise FundsMarch 21
Courteney Cox and David Arquette have a challenge for their famous friends: help raise $1 million in two weeks for Epidermolysis Bullosa, a rare skin condition that primarily affects children.
Joining Cox and Arquette in the awareness- and money-raising effort are Jennifer Aniston, Orlando Bloom, Kate Beckinsale, Rashida Jones, James Marsden and Eva Longoria Parker. All will lend their famous faces and financial support to the Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation, where Cox, Arquette and Aniston serve on the honorary advisory board. (Brad Pitt, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale are also members.)
“EB is very personal to me so I’m happy to be a part of this $1 million challenge,” Cox said in a statement to The Associated Press. “Now is such an important time to put the spotlight on EB and ensure that research can continue at a fast pace.”
Epidermolysis Bullosa is a debilitating genetic disorder that causes the skin to blister and break at the slightest touch. Victims are often covered in burn-like sores that never heal and most don’t live beyond age 30.

And of course by “not as crazy” I mean “Holy shit the bitch is crazy”. Among other claims (she’s been essentially grounded by her dad; she spends all day in her room changing clothes), OK! magazine says Britney keeps a shrine devoted to her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake:
Sources tell OK! that few people have seen Brit’s collection of private mementos from her years with the pop superstar. “She’s obsessed with him,” the source reveals. “She has pictures of them together and has devoted a private area just to celebrate him.” (Source)
Sometimes we forget that Justin is the true victim in this whole saga. People forget how hot a piece of ass Britney was when he was coring her. Guy must have been on top of the world the first time he got her naked. If it was me, no doubt the next day’s New York Times would have featured a full-page ad of me boasting about my conquest. Winner Javier Bardem rubbed elbows with Penelope Cruz, and Ben and Casey Affleck were there, too.
And finally, who could resist the purple carpet at Prince’s post-Oscars fete? This was undoubtedly the most-coveted ticket in town, for anyone still standing at 2 a.m. when the party really got started.
